Do you see what I see?


When the entry came up there were suspicions confirmed. Pulled up a registration number that was half faded from the side of the ship and found an obscure book in a faraway database that listed commercial shipping records from a corporation that had ceased to exist before the Grand Experience.

Long, long before.

It’s the “Seed”. Sent out a thousand years ago and lost thousands of sectors away. Nowhere remotely near here. Though I suppose one could do some sort of math to figure out how it came to be derelict in front of them right now.

Where they were right now wasn’t even on charts back then. Or, double checking the schematics, was there any mechanical way they could have made it out here before the crew simply died of old age?

Well, we’re going to be spending some time together over the next couple of days while we wait for Abneil to show up. Pure scrap alone this should be enough to get through the next couple months. But there’s got to be something worth picking out for a collector or two.

The “Phoenix Rose”. No idea what it did. No idea who the owner “Greenly Union” was or what they were about.

We’ve got some time to get to know each other.
